The exhibit compares healthy ankle motion to the reduced range of motion seen in foot drop. Foot drop is difficulty or inability to lift the forefoot and is associated with abnormal gait. Foot drop is caused by nerve damage, muscular weakness, stroke, diabetes, or a combination of these conditions.
