An infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm is a bulging, weakened area in the wall of the lower part of the aorta below the kidneys that results in an abnormal widening or ballooning of the aorta. It is repaired by inserting a reinforcing tube such as the bifurcated AneuRx endograft inside the aorta.
