Subtalar arthrodesis surgery is performed due to traumatic subtalar arthritis. A lateral incision is made, exposing the subtalar joint, and an osteotomy is performed. Bone graft is harvested from the left iliac crest and place in the subtalar joint, which is then fixed with cannulated screws.
