This exhibit demonstrates the anterior discectomy, foraminotomy, and annuloplasty at C5-6. Using an endoscope placed through an anterior incision of the neck, a foraminotomy is preformed with a rongeur to remove the herniated disc material, thus decompressing the foramen. A radiofrequency device is then used to preform an annuloplasty, sealing any tears in the outer wall of the disc.
