This exhibit illustrates an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion surgery at C4-5. The herniated disc material is removed using rongeurs. The end plates are prepared for the impaction of an allograft into the C4-5 disc space. An X-Spine plate and screws are used to fixate the vertebrae.
