The exhibit depicts arthroscopic knee surgery to treat tears in the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial meniscus. The ACL remnant is debrided and tunnels are drilled to allow placement of a tendon allograft. The graft is held in place with interference screws. Medial meniscectomy and synovectomy procedures are performed to finish the procedure and improve knee joint function.
