This exhibit depicts the exostectomy of the calcaneus with detachment and reattachment of the Achilles tendon of the right heel. The Achilles tendon is exposed and detached from its insertion at the calcaneus, followed by the removal of large posterior spurring using an osteotome. The Achilles tendon is then reattached to the resected calcaneus using four SwiveLock Anchors and FiberTape.
