The exhibit illustrates the surgical osteotomy and bone graft placement of the left radius. The radius is cut using an osteotome. Bone graft excised from the pelvis with a bone saw is placed between the pieces of cut radius. Fixation of the osteotomy site with the bone graft is achieved through placement of plate and screws.
