The exhibit illustrates posterior lumbar surgery including hemilaminotomy, foraminotomy, medial facetectomy, and discectomy at right L4-5. After exposing the right side of L4-5, a hemilaminotomy and medial facetectomy are performed. Then disc material is excised from the disc space.
