The exhibit illustrates surgery of the posterior cervical spine at C3 through C6 levels. After exposing the surgical site, lateral mass screws are inserted at C3 through C6 bilaterally. Next, a laminectomy is performed and the lateral masses are decorticated. Finally rods and mixed bone graft are placed over the decorticated C3-6 levels to achieve posterolateral fusion.
