This exhibit demonstrates the surgical procedures of a left-sided anterior peritoneal interbody fusion at the L3-4 vertebral level. An incision is made laterally and the L3-4 vertebrae are exposed. A discectomy is performed and the end plated are prepared, followed by impaction of a XLIF interbody graft with Osteocel into the disc space. Fixation of the L3-4 vertebrae and the interbody graft is achieved using using a Decade plate and screws.
