The exhibit features a partial percutaneous discectomy procedure at C5-6 to treat disc herniation. Part of the nucleus is removed from the C5-6 space using a nucleotome and plasma decompressor. Central nuclear material is removed by cutting, suctioning, and disintegrating to eliminate the herniation.
