This exhibit depicts a surgical decompression of spinal stenosis at L5-S1. A small incision is made over right L5-S1, and a working cannula is introduced. A rongeur is used to perform a laminectomy and partial facetectomy. A partial discectomy is performed by removing the herniated disc material. A partial foraminotomy is also performed.
