The exhibit illustrates left lumbar surgery to treat disc herniation and associated pain at the L4-5 and L5-S1. Discectomy procedures are performed at these levels, and an Optimesh with mixed bone graft is inserted into the disc spaces. Pedicle screws are placed bilaterally to achieve posterolateral fixation.
